For instance, on our french online doc/help/forum (http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org), there are plenty of pages written for beginners that kindly ask to run a command in a terminal. Half of them are sudo commands. I agree with the last comment. Most often, than we would like to accept , an average Ubuntu user has to use the sudo command in the terminal. Not providing the feedback only confuses the user more.
