Hi, I have also tried including Dplug:surround51:0, with dvd`s or with
programs like rhytmbox. I'm not sure if I only have to move a volume up or
anything dump that i have missed. (I also use amd 64)

i have almost the same problem but in front right and front left speaker since
the upgrade to Karmic, it's setup for 5.1 surround.
With jaunty I had to type sudo killall pulseaudio every time I needed sound,
but It worked great, now i can't make it work.
Tested via: speaker-test -c6 -l1 -twav
It worked prior to karmic - and I didn't change anything on the setup.
