Title:
network-manager stops working if pppoeconf is used
To manage notifications
Unfortunately this is still a bug.
To use pppoe over wifi, you need to run pppoeconfig as the NetworkManager does
not currently support it.
After running pppoeconfig and a reboot, it then causes NetworkManager to no
longer work.

I have installed 9.10 in a desktop and a laptop. No connection is
possible from Network-manager, neither dsl nor mobile 3g. I finnally
managed dsl connection throug pppoeconf but I would like to use network-
manager.

The same happened to me. I have installed the beta version of 9.10, but
network manager could not connect via DSL pppoe, so I had to use
pppoeconf. Now I tried to use updated network manager, but I am not sure
if it is still buggy or remainders od pppoeconf modifications prevent
its function.
