This no longer is an issue for me on lucid (updated as of March 20)/new install. Why is an old version slotted for release in Lucid? Doesn't work; deb for lucid shows: Error: Dependency is not satisfiable: libatk1.0-0 (=1.29.3) Further, the karmic version does not stick even when set. Michal Čihař: Ubuntu package is gpointing-device-settings (1.3.1-2) on 2009-06-01 Upstream version is gpointing-device-settings (1.3.2-1) somewhere in Oct. It still hasnt been updated. I think you got mixed up with the 1-2 and the 2-1. The most recent change to this package has not fixed the problem.
