This seems to be a new issue, not a direct regression to the old bug
fixed in edgy. For me, it was rather this bug, which affects a lot of
packages:

Transparency is a problem though with A LOT of more applications' tray icons
but this one is really annoying.
Fix it as the patch doesn't work anymore.

Seeing that the patch was added to 2.0.dfsg.1-2ubuntu2, I guess this bug
could be closed, couldn't it?
Does the package maintainer has to mark it as fixed or can regular
users as myself also do that?
