Please don't change the status of this bug. It clear is already fixed
with the availability of a module to load. If you'd like a GUI-friendly
manner to load it, you should file a bug against gnome-media and/or
pavucontrol.

That would be very handy. I can loopback the mic input but not the line-
in on mine.

Some cards expose a loopback, but PA makes this easy for all sound
devices by making available module-loopback.

I just figured out how to do it by installing Gnome-ALSA-Mixer. Sorry
for the inconvenience. Nevertheless this *is* a usablity issue since
karmic/pulse now lacks a normal mixer...
