[Bug 458581] Re: Audio lag in AdobeFlash (games, not videos)
This pulseaudio bug was confirmed only with very old Ubuntu releases, could you test if audio still lags behind graphics in flash games (e.g., http://jamlegend.com/) with latest stable Ubuntu version - 12.04 ? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/458581 Title: Audio lag in AdobeFlash (games, not videos) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pulseaudio/+bug/458581/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 458581] Re: Audio lag in AdobeFlash (games, not videos)
Bug does still occur in the very recent Ubuntu 10.10 beta, so I guess there have been no changes on PulseAudio. -- Audio lag in AdobeFlash (games, not videos) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/458581 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 458581] Re: Audio lag in AdobeFlash (games, not videos)
Hmm it's look like I had luck two times. It's not shm. -- Audio lag in AdobeFlash (games, not videos) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/458581 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 458581] Re: Audio lag in AdobeFlash (games, not videos)
It is shm-related. When lag appears, pause the game and type this in terminal: /usr/bin/pulseaudio --cleanup-shm And there is no lag again :) -- Audio lag in AdobeFlash (games, not videos) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/458581 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 458581] Re: Audio lag in AdobeFlash (games, not videos)
Well, just for the record I tried in Lucid and the problem persists. shm did not work, indeed. -- Audio lag in AdobeFlash (games, not videos) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/458581 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 458581] Re: Audio lag in AdobeFlash (games, not videos)
I'm using the very recent version of Ubuntu Lucid and that bug also occurred on my system when I tried to play JamLegend. The only possible solution was to install OSS4. However, this is just a simple workaround and I want my PulseAudio back as soon as possible.
