Adobe Flash Player plugin version 10 is even not recognozined by FireFox on 8.04Hardy. I downloaded the .deb package and installed it with no problem reported but it is not seen in Firefox plugin list after that. I had a similar problem -- I found a script that un-installed the flash 10 files ... but I still haven't been able to udate to the flash player 10: http://www.cyberciti.biz/tips/install-flash-10-ubuntu-linux-64bit.html It won't install using apt-get or software center -- I even tried to a manual install with no luck.
