I have the same problem. I also don't have a /etc/X11/xorg.conf file. My graphics system is basically unusable. X crashes every few minutes and gdm gets stuck in a restart loop. I can sometimes get out of the restart loop by switching to another console while gdm is starting and switching back.

@Argyle Your bug is different, I only have the Xorg log containing error message but system works fine. @Bryce Harrington Could You say what should I update? I haven't edited any X config file manually, so I believe it is an error in Ubuntu, not in my configuration. ** Changed in: xorg

the i810 warning is just a warning, you can ignore it. ** Changed in: xorg (Ubuntu) Status: New = Won't Fix -- Xorg error: Failed to load module i810 (it works, though) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/463529 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs,

@Bryce Harrington You mean, what specifically I have to update? If You mean xorg.conf, I don't have this file at all. -- Xorg error: Failed to load module i810 (it works, though) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/463529 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs,

The i810 driver has been replaced by the intel driver, you need to update your config. ** Changed in: xorg (Ubuntu) Status: New = Won't Fix -- Xorg error: Failed to load module i810 (it works, though) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/463529 You received this bug notification because you
