I test it with Kubuntu 10.04 and Firefox 3.6.3. I think the title of this bug should be changed as kubuntu is not the only browser concerned. I can confirm that it doesn't wok on Firefox. I couldn't get getdeb to work with konqueror or firefox but after installing the getdeb repository it does work with chromium at least for me. This does not fix the problem but is a way around it and ended my frustration.
