The mythbuntu version of lucid lynx (10.04) says: MythTV 0.23 build
24104 is included. That should say enough. Since mythtv 0.23 is not out
officially (beta 3 I see at the site) I'd say myth in ubuntu will be
updated once it is out.

Until upstream has resolved this (or unless someone else develops a
patch and submits it upstream), I understand the work-arounds to be:
* Fall back to 0.21 (available in the 9.04 repos), do the channel scanning
there, then upgrade that database

* Enter channel info manually

listening is not available for me.

Chris, this was my work around:
I finally decide to try using a grabber. Surprisingly the grabber for my
country (Argentina) worked perfectly and added all my channels with name
included.
So, when you add a source chose a grabber. Then on Input connections select
the source and press Fetch
