thread. Problem was in bad language translation from Slovak to English
(I dont know exactly where). Thank you very much for your response.

Uhm... Slazer, can you please post your sources.list?
I don't think it's a bug if you manually edit your sources.list and add
non-standard stuff. (I'm not saying that you did that, though) :)
Also, check the instructions for upgrading for the release that you want
to upgrade to.

Yes, I fully agree with this bug. I am running Kubuntu 6.06 and all
links from sources.list are invalid.
I think It may be quite crittical if I can not download latest SECURITY
UPDATES.
Please fix this (for examlple with new sources.list file with functional
link on this page, or on Kubuntu
Ok, i just solved the exact same problem, whithout any editing in config
files.
I just added the Ubuntu 5.10 Updates repository using the Synaptic Package
Manager (Settings | Repositories).
Then i did a full update (Which included the update manager) and then it worked.
