hi fabrice. dpkg-source was ignoring the deletion since the debian
directory is in the original source tarball, i'm guessing this is why
the bug wasnt fixed in debian as the changlelog says. the attached
debdiff removes the entry from debian/ifupdown-scripts-zg2.dirs instead.

I had to change the maintainer in debian/control, as it wasn't updated.
Also, please report the patch to Debian, so that the package get fixed there
also, and if you think it has to be fixed in Karmic, please follow the SRU
process.

Looks like 0.3.4 was supposed to make this change but didnt
ifupdown-scripts-zg2 (0.3-4ubuntu1) lucid; urgency=low
* really remove debian/ifupdown-scripts-zg2.dirs as we meant to in 0.3.4
