Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evince
1) Using Ubuntu 9.10 amd64 2) Evince version 2.28.1-0ubuntu1.2 When I print PDF files using Evince, the margins are changed from what is displayed in the viewer. The result is uncentered text on paper, which looks bad. This seems not be a printer problem, as the same document is better printed (regarding margins correctness) with Acrobat Reader 9, installed on Ubuntu also. I have included Evince and Acrobat Reader respective outputs in the attachments. The test document, publicly available here : http://www.idealsoftware.com/PDF/rtf.pdf was used for testing, but any PDF file (haven't tested other types of file yet) is affected. For the record, my printer is a Samsung SCX-4200 monochrome laser printer. ** Affects: evince (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Evince PDF margins problem at print https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/493029 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
