(Foxlink) webcam.
And the cam is totally not usable because every 15-20 seconds video freezes
forever (until I restart it).

I'm not getting the Huffman code errors, just the fill_nbit ones.
Otherwise, the symptoms are like those above. It starts out as a green
screen while the errors start printing. The top few rows of pixels
appear and seem to get updated. Eventually, I get the test screen
image.

Those errors are supposed to have been fixed in the latest gspca driver.

I poked around with this, and tried to install the mercurial version of
uvcvideo failed at that and then reinstalled my kernel.
Once I reinstalled my kernel, cheese became usable. I still get a few
huffman code errors here and there but not enough make cheese unusable.
Rather weird.

I am using a logitech webcam c200 with ubuntu 9.04. I see these huffman
code errors and visible artifacts on screen. Part or all of the screen
will flash in different colors like arky's screenshot.
