[Bug 508355] Re: Help (ghelp:evince) not found

2010-05-28 Thread Kamus
I tried to reproduce this issue under Lucid (pressing F1 while evince is
running) but works fine here (help is displayed correctly), can you try
to reproduce this issue (if is possible) in latest release included in
Ubuntu Lucid? Thanks!

The issue should be debugged by somebody having it

[Bug 508355] Re: Help (ghelp:evince) not found

2010-01-16 Thread madbiologist
I cannot reproduce this on Ubuntu Karmic 9.10. I'm using an English
language setting and an Australian locale. Ilmari - what are your
language and locale settings?

My locale output is:

home-01:~$ locale
LANG=en_AU.UTF-8
LC_CTYPE=en_AU.UTF-8
LC_NUMERIC=en_AU.UTF-8
LC_TIME=en_AU.UTF-8
LC_COLLATE=en_AU.UTF-8
LC_MONETARY=en_AU.UTF-8
LC_MESSAGES=en_AU.UTF-8
LC_PAPER=en_AU.UTF-8
LC_NAME=en_AU.UTF-8
LC_ADDRESS=en_AU.UTF-8
LC_TELEPHONE=en_AU.UTF-8
LC_MEASUREMENT=en_AU.UTF-8
LC_IDENTIFICATION=en_AU.UTF-8
LC_ALL=

If I launch evince from the terminal there are no errors until I select
Help - Contents (or press F1), then the following is printed in the
terminal:

** (gnome-help:2619): CRITICAL **: atk_object_set_name: assertion `name
!= NULL' failed

** (gnome-help:2619): CRITICAL **: atk_object_set_name: assertion `name !=
NULL' failed

The help app still displays the help file pages normally though.

If I select About this Document and scroll down and select GNOME
Feedback Page (under the Feedback heading), then I get a message box
which says Unable to load page. The requested URI ghelp:gnome-
feedback is invalid. Nothing further is printed in the terminal
though. However I think this bug has already been reported.
