the bug I submitted is not releated to prism. I have already remove

After removing firefox, reboot, and reinstall, the bug has been fixed.

I installed google calendar (prism) after removing that program and
reinstalling firefox, i could not reproduce the bug anymore.

I've got same problem here with this message when launching from
terminal :

Segmentation fault (core dumped)
I've tried with a new firefox profile and got the problem only when I
tried to use addons managment tools.

Yes; Tried that. The 2 extensions I have that will consistently trigger
the 'fail to even attempt launching' symptom (if compatibility.ini is in
place) for me are RequestPolicy and xmarks. Both worked perfect on

Same behaviour on Windows 7. You have to delete compatibility.ini every time
Firefox is closed (or alternatively, start in safe mode, then restart into
normal mode).
A lot more people seem to be encountering this problem on various operating
