Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-control-center
Background: In the Visual Effects tab of Appearance Preferences, when switching from "None" to {Normal or Extra} a dialog appears saying "searching for available drivers..." Problem: The cancel button on this dialog does not cancel the change to another mode, instead it just skips the search for proper graphics drivers. Resolution: 1. Rename the Cancel button to Skip 2. Add a "real" Cancel button that stops the change to a different mode (optional) I'm running Ubuntu 9.10 ** Affects: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Cancel button misleading when changing Desktop Effects https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/520777 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
