Not sure if I should add this here as this bug seems old, but not yet resolved. Running 9.10, I have a similar power-off activity. I believe it is temperature-related. Here is the relevant log output just before the power-off. The CTRL-EVENT-SCAN-RESULTS appears repeatedly. Then the ACPI
