Your report shows that you have the VGA16 framebuffer, so text prompts
are the expected behavior due to bug #526892. Does the boot *fail*, or
are you simply reporting that it's text-based?

Boot does not fail. It's text based with a lot of screen artefacts and
flickering.
It shows the blue/white progress bars in combination with text.
This machine has an Nvidia controller
