Since the upgrade to twisted 10.0.0, I'm also unable to launch HellaNZB.
However, the stacktrace is different:
/usr/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/twisted/internet/default.py:15:
DeprecationWarning: twisted.internet.default is deprecated. Use posixbase or
selectreactor instead.
Please ignore comment #2 about the stacktrace being different. It's not.
