Me too. Vanilla install of 10.04 Did an 'apt-get dist-upgrade' and rebooted. I also have this problem, Upgrating from 9.10, rebooted then this error =(. I've checked my fstab, tried all the solutions here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1441810page=4, but nothing worked.
