I don't think this is a grace issue only. This is an X server issue. Unfortunaly there hasn't been a new release from Ubuntu yet. I have put a few notes on my blog on how I fixed this. I am very new to this whole bug reporting / fixing process in the real Ubuntu world, so I apologize if this is not the place for these comments. The status in the previous comment states that it was changed from "In Progress" to "Fix Released". I am completely up to date with the released updates for Ubuntu 10.04, but I'm still seeing the issue. Other forums have stated, and I agree, that this is a critical issue for anyone developing in *tif, which I do. I'd appreciate any response, but specific instructions if I have to acquire / apply / compile this fix myself would be tremendously beneficial to me now, as well as in the future for any further issues I may encounter.
