After todays update of libnss3-d1 to version 3.12.6-ubuntu0.9.10.2 it
works for me without the workaround.

Same problem for me.

A workaround :

1/Stop FF.

2/ Delete (or move to backup) the file :
$HOME/.mozilla/firefox/xxx.default/secmod.db

3/ Start FF
