It's not really eating your memory, just reflects the pixmap memory
cached by the server, so not really a bug. And KMS is the preferred way
to run ATI graphics anyway.

When I disable KMS Xorg's memory usage raises up to 165MB! It usually
doesn't get lower after closing running applications. I suppose it can
