Nope no joy.
I followed these steps and then added an empty directory the Ubuntu One
folder in nautilus. That synchronised.
Then I copied a folder with two files into the directory. The Ubuntu One
preferences says Synchronisation Complete, but the folder icon still
has the grey two arrows
Can you please try the following and let us know the results?
1. Quit the Ubuntu One Preferences (if it is open)
2. Open Applications-Accessories-Passwords and Encryption Keys
3. Click on the arrow next to Passwords
4. Right-click on the Ubuntu One token and select Delete
5. Go to

Sorry to hear you are having problems with Ubuntu One. We would need the client
log to start analyzing the problem.
Please attach the logs to this bug report using the 'Add Attachment or Patch'
button at the bottom of the page. Just zip your $HOME/.cache/ubuntuone/log/
folder and
After you attach the logs you can change the 'Status' of your bug back
to 'New'. The status of a bug report can be modified by clicking on the
current status in the yellow line, which will reveal a sub menu. You can
then set a new status in the drop down box.
