No ionash, I have not opened a new bug report on mtp plugin, but if you

It looks like my problem with my Fuji FinePix automounting was being
caused by Rhythmbox's Portable Players - MTP plugin. As long as
Rhythmbox was running with the MTP plugin enabled, my camera would not
automount. Disabling the MTP plugin allowed the camera to automount and
removed the usbfs:

I've gotten the exact same gvfs-gphoto2 error message with a Fuji
FinePix Z20fd camera on two separate computers running x86 (not AMD64)
Lucid. In both cases, simply logging out and logging back in caused the
camera to auto-mount.

@Spoilerhead - Support for the Canon EOS 7D was added in libgphoto2
2.4.8, which is the version used in Lucid, so it seems you have a
similar regression to the one identified in comment #2.
