FYI, firmware-b43-installer is not included in the Maverick LiveCD, so you can no longer install the Broadcom wireless drivers using the LiveCD. Can you please uninstall the driver in Jockey, then install it using sudo apt-get install firmware-b43-installer and copypaste the entire output? Does it work afterwards? Confirmed in Maverick Beta. B43 installation failed.
