Public bug reported: Binary package hint: pyjamas
Hi, All pyjamas packages has been removed following bug #567819, because pyjamas-desktop indirectly depends on python-xpcom that has been dropped from xulruner 1.9.2. It was not mandatory to delete all the pyjamas packages, as pyjamas-desktop is not a core dependency of the application and can be deleted from the debian/control file, without impacting the aim of pyjamas (python -> javascript compiler for GWT). This is what have been done in Maverick, following a discussion on ubuntu-devel mailing list. Would it be possible to reintegrate pyjamas source and binary in Lucid? Not sure what would be the correct process thought. Thanks, Fabrice ** Affects: pyjamas (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: pyjamas (Ubuntu) Milestone: None => lucid-updates -- Please bring back the pyjamas package in lucid https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/604198 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
