Have the same problem here with my Ubuntu 10.04
Use Edit = Force Version to downgrade package to 0.1.6 and you will
be able to install indicator-sound again.

Same issue, with libido 0.1.10. Downgraded to 0.1.5 and it works fine
now.

Actually I still have the issue after I updated today libido to version
0.1.10 and the indicator sound was uninstalled and I couldn't install it
again.
I had to downgrade libido to version 0.1.6 to get back the indicator
sound on my gnome panel.
I'm using Ubuntu Lucid 64 bit and the indicator
