Public bug reported: Binary package hint: mobile-broadband-provider-info
While Orange InternetEverywhere worked out of the box in 10.04, the new 10.10 package apparently uses the wrong APN information. Instead of "internet" it should be "mobileoffice3g". Once the APN name has been changed, the connection works without problems. $ apt-cache policy mobile-broadband-provider-info mobile-broadband-provider-info: Installed: 20100804-1 Candidate: 20100804-1 Version table: *** 20100804-1 0 500 http://ch.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ maverick/main amd64 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status ** Affects: mobile-broadband-provider-info (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Network Manager incorrect APN for Orange InternetEverywhere in Switzerland https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/622551 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
