If this still occurs with VirtualBox 4.0.2 (and updated Additions)
though you might want to file an upstream report. It would be most

This bug is not not a real bug. VirtualBox states clearly in the Manual
that 3D on a Linux Host has currently still experimental status.
VirtualBox is currently not suitable for play 3D-Games within. A better
recommondation for playing Windows based games could be the usage of
WINE.
