I tried the following:
* from a virgin hardy chroot (which has python-poker-network 1.2.0)
* apt-get install python-poker-network
* edit /etc/apt/source.list to s/hardy/lucid/
* apt-get update
* apt-get dist-upgrade
and got exactly the same message.
