Just tested the new kernel (2.6.24-11-generic) of Hardy Heron Alpha 6
via the LiveCD. Samsung SENS X11 booted normally. This bug seems to be
resolved.

I can confirm this bug on Samsung SENS X11 laptop (also i945GM). I had
it there since Ubuntu 6.06. Now I use 7.10 Tribe 5 with kernel
2.6.22-10-generic and it is still there.

installed by a very recent Feisty install snapshot works fine but the first
upgraded kernel

Still fails in kernel 2.6.20-13 but didn't for me in kernel
2.6.20-12. Also have i915 video. This is also the first kernel version to fail
on this for me too.
