This is an even bigger issue on netbooks and tablets, where vertical screen space tends to be even MORE severely limited. This has been a problem for a long time, and affects usability quite seriously - if you have limited vertical space, you want you accounts ordered so that the most commonly used one is at the top (and if you use IMAP, you probably don't care about the local holders).
