This bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in
it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If so, could
you please provide the information following
noirq wasn't a choice, I even haven't boot with it. But it worked without it
and WITH proprietal drivers, but battery recongition hadn't been working
without and with prop. drivers, so...
I'll test it with 12.04.

The acpi=noirq option breaks the detection of battery status change.
There is a kernel patch available to make the battery status working on
AO251. With acpi=noirq status changes (battery - powersupply and vice
versa)
Thanks, it seems to be resolved by using proprietary drivers.

it seems that you did not create that /etc/pm/config.d/00s2ram correctly
, in VIM , use :wq to save and quit , pls remove 00s2ram.swp also , it
just a file temporary created by VIM.

for me workaround doesn't work, with it it doesn't even go to sleep (before
that it just didn't wake-up), should I create new file 00s2ram or just edit
existing file 00s2ram.swp?

Suspend work on my acer ao521 with this method :D
1) update the BIOS to v1.08 (DON'T install v1.11 !! that is a wrong
version !!)
2) MENU System Administration Additional Driver ATI/AMD
proprietary FGLRX graphics driver activcte
3) open a terminal :
$ sudo apt-get install uswsusp
$ sudo vi

Same problem with my Samsung N148 Plus. It suspends bun don't want to
wakeup. Works fine in Lucid but not in Maverick
