Switched to xorg-etchers, got a black xorg loop and it is not possible

I think Unity uses quite a lot of 3d stuff - so both cases are 3d
related. I'll leave this one for the ATI X guys to figure out.
You might like to try using the very latest experimental X packages at
https://edge.launchpad.net/~xorg-edgers/+archive/ppa
If they work any better please add a
Marking confirmed since reasonable debug added and seems to be
repeatable for reporter with desktop effects.
