kord123, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any
activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If
so, could you please test for this with the latest development release
of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com

Various Toshiba laptops - brightness controls work on first boot, but do
nothing after suspend/resume to RAM.

In Toshiba r630 the Brightness adjustment is not working... well If
reboot my laptop I will work, but I don't want to reboot or logout.
grep . /sys/class/backlight/toshiba/*
/sys/class/backlight/toshiba/actual_brightness:7
/sys/class/backlight/toshiba/bl_power:0
Maybe it's a related to using dual screen or boot from an hibernate
state.
