I can confirm: this issue still applies in Ubuntu Natty (64-bit here). This same thing happens to me as well but in the library. After reinsering the track manually into the library the message Output window was closed appears under Properties with a red (no-entry) sign next to it. It seems that closing the output window causes a fatal error? Running rhythmbox 0.13.3-0ubuntu5 under Natty (Unity).
