a no colour option, or choose your own color might be nice for some
icon themes.

But i dont expect these theming options to hit on this release, but
would be nice for the next.

Oddly, this did seem like an intended design. :-)
It was and is *much* easier to find running/inactive applications than
an indicator which was just 10px wide.
