I can confirm that this bug still affects Natty as of Beta 2 (and that updates installed after installing a Natty amd64 Beta 2 command-line only system from the alternate CD still do not ameliorate the problem), at least with the lubuntu-desktop package. I'll try installing the ubuntu-desktop
