Binary package hint: unity
>From Desktop (Minimize all windows, if you have any). Go to Top panel
Menu, Select Places --> Search For Files ...
That will open the Search Window, but no Text box is there.
I am using Acer Aspire 4720z
Please find the attached Screen shot for the same.
