Sorry for the delay. Fix uploaded. I ended up splitting the patch into
2 (enable indicator, fix x crash) as well as adding a patch to ignore
potfiles changes in .pc.

I have attached the output of $ G_DEBUG=fatal_criticals gdb -ex run -ex
bt clipit
I have run it under maverick, because I don't have a natty machine with
a different DE handy, but the problem is most probably the same.
