I had this begin happening all of a sudden. Accidentally closed a
chromium-browser window, upon restart I saw nothing but failures.

I've found a temporary fix by using the dev build of google-chrome
(instead of chromium)[http://dev.chromium.org/getting-involved/dev-
channel] and setting `--user-data-dir=~/.config/chromium` on boot.
