I believe this problem has been corrected in Ubuntu 7.10 OpenOffice
2.3.0 or at least I was able to hear the song for the entirety under
Ubuntu (Gnome). Also the crash at the end of the presentation bug has
been fixed as well.

it took me a little time to find the pps. Find it attached
pps_with_music_NationalGeographicsPhotos2006.pps.
The problem still persists.
In Ubuntu 7.04 (new installation): After pressing F5 and one time the space
bar, for a second or so sound starts but immediately stops again.

Does this problem still occur for you with Ubuntu 7.04? If so can you
include a copy of the presentation if it isn't sensitive in the bug
report.
