Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to
look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many
changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem
may have been fixed

Same here. I've found that after each flip I can't make another flip
until I focus a window by clicking it's title bar.

Same issue here, although in unity the mouse cursor alone will never
trigger a switch if moving to the top of the screen. I assume that this
is due to the trigger being blocked by the top bar. Moving down to the
bottom of the screen have identical issues to the original poster, on my
system.
