I just tested this on 1.5.0.10, I cannot reproduce this bug, both ways
described in Scotts report work fine for me..
Can you please try running Thunderbird from the Command Line with the
'-safe-mode' option being passed, this will disable any
extensions/themes you have that may cause

Meanwhile Ubuntu has updated TB to 1.5.0.10 which does not show the problem
anymore.
Forwarding inline works as expected without doing any changes to the
configuration for which 'forward inline' did not work previously.

Hi Alex,
The behaviour reported by ScottHerman is still present in 1.5.0.9 with
profiles being created from scratch. IMHO this is a major drawback
coompared to previous version where this feature was working flawlessly.

Hello ScottHerman,
Thank you for the bug report, can I ask if you can still reproduce this
on 1.5.0.9? Perhaps can I get you to try a new profile, this can be done
by renaming your ~/.mozilla-thunderbird folder to something else and
then running Thunderbird again.
