Fully updated as of this AM and its still happening all tho not as much. I just reproduced it by clicking on the mumble icon that I had stuck to the launcher. As soon as the mumble window opened the launcher was stuck over the application behind it and you could click thru to the application

Had a slightly different experience this morning after waking from suspend. The retained image was pixelated. Wish I could've grabbed a screenshot, but it looked similar to TV noise. Mousing over the Ubuntu symbol caused the menu to come out again, which redrew the menu and it retracted normally.
