Dear Iain, thank you for telling me about this option. Unfortunatly, I am not experienced in building packages myself. The most I've been doing so far is to add additional repositories. I also do not use pmx or m-tx and therefore I am not able to test those programms. It looks to me like I am not able to contribute significantly to the next step in producing a backport. Hi there, If you'd like musixtex to be backported we need confirmation that it builds, installs and runs on natty. You can use the 'prevu' package/command for this. After installing the built deb you'll need to confirm that the reverse depends texlive-musix pmx m-tx /from natty/ still work with this new package.
