Ubuntu. I'm closing this as 'Invalid' in order to tidy the outstanding

humm actually /etc/kde4rc seems to have on effect on this issue. The
only work around that I've found is to remove: /usr/share/kubuntu-
default-settings/kde4-profile/default/share/kdeglobals

Thanks Bruno, this workaround also worked for me, although in my case
the file was located in this path:
/usr/share/kubuntu-default-
settings/kde4-profile/default/share/config/kdeglobals
I preferred to move it to /usr/share/kubuntu-default-
